Similar to Exabytes, one must properly read their promotions as their billing department,sales and marketing do not really communicate with each other. Case in point is their domain promotions in which we had the displeasure of dealing with them. Only after submitting payment for domain renewal, the billing department denied us our discount on account that we missed the date which is 4.30pm, which is in no way stated on their email promotion which they sent to us. Their account manager even had the cheek to say since we are their regular customer, we 'should' know this. What she failed to realised that even in their website, which we pointed out to her, that no such condition was mentioned on renewal.
Second case, which we did not bother to bring up to them is the duration for advanced renewal(again, for promotions) does not matched with the official expiry date from Mynic.
The above are just small issue to us and involves small amount but what pisses us off is the way we are being callously treated. All this while, we are a regular customer with nearly zero demands and because of an issue which is no fault of ours, their billing department refused to renew our client's domain if we do not top up as we supposedly missed their promotional dateline? This is compounded by the fact that their account manager tries to insinuate that we did not read their T&C properly( which at the end, we showed them ample proof that it was them that misinterpreted their own advertisement).
At the end of the day, most Malaysian companies(not just web hosting) just do not know how to treat their customers right. Had we not stand our grounds and present all necessary evidence of misrepresention in their advertisement, their 'management' would not decided to 'waive' the extra fees. What utter rubbish, when there is no waiver to begin with, as we are entitled to the discount in the first place. They do not really care if you are regular customers and certainly do not bother to build business goodwill.
I used to be their loyal customer for hundreds of domains and two dedicated servers a year ago. Now I have moved out my dedicated servers to other providers because their service is terrible! Probably the worst support ever compared to other hosting providers when it comes to dedicated servers. The problem with their support is that they are not helpful and never conduct further investigative action in order to solve the problem. Every response they give are simply dismissive responses that tries to point the problem back to the user and ignore the problem altogether. Time and again it is me who had to do all the investigation, and at the end it shows that the problem is on their side apparently. In summary, their support is more about you doing investigation to prove them something. That is probably the most annoying thing about their support. Moreover, their support is not 24 hours as they claim to be. And it usually takes longer than 3 days to solve even the smallest problem such as changing a nameserver! I have lost lots and lots of money because of the inefficiency of their support team. Taking dedicated server hosting with Shinjiru was probably the biggest mistake I ever did for my business. Even after I have moved out my two servers they still managed to give me a hard time when my main domain which is still under them became inaccessible due to their DNS configuration error!
This site belongs to our Foreign Minister but being managed by myself as a web designer. The site has been up for about 3 months and so far no problems faced. No down time. Great support and nice customer service ! fast response ! i feel there are the best around..
Saya sudah ada akaun dengan Shinjiru selama 2 tahun.. 2 account dan 5 domain dengan Shinjiru. Amat memuaskan. Tidak ada masalah langsung. Support mereka memang baik. Kalau anda perlu Support yang cepat , ini lah pilihan yang tepat !
Layanan pelanggan oleh shinjiru amatla bagus, masalah biasanya dapat diselesaikan dalam masa yang singkat. Setakat ini saya sangat berpuas hati dan saya juga sangat-sangat rekemen kepada orang-orang yang masih mencari hosting agar memilih shinjiru. Walaupun harga yang ditawarkan agak mahal berbanding yang lain, namun benda yang terbaik mestila pada harga yang terbaikan?
Kelajuan jalur lebar dia sangat memuaskan, dan server loadnya adalah sangat rendah. Pilihan yang terbaikla untuk hosting forum atau portal.
I have been hosting with Shinjiru for the past 6 months. All i can say is i have not faced any downtime yet. It has been good all the time for me. Good choice to pick.
Shinjiru is the best offshore company i have seen. Have tried many other offshore companies, but so far this would be the best. Running 2 dedicated servers with them and their support is excellent. Replies within 15 minutes and all i can say is they are simply the best ! good pick !
All i can say all their supports are helpful. Fast reply within 30 minutes. Email problems solved on the spot via phone. Great services ! Perfect customer service and uptime ! no regrets.

I must agree that Shinjiru is a great Hosting Company. However, their Online Customer Service is below par. Regarding the scripting language, it lacks of Ruby and Phython.
If you are a professional who doesn't require technical support and doesn't use Ruby and Phython, Shinjiru is excellent for you.
I have been using their services for a year already. So far so good. Downtime is minimal, features are good for me. Customer support is not bad also, although I have seen better.
