You need to know this too ! It is one of the most important factors
that get you good search engine results. Links that go to your website
lets search engines know wether your site is popular or not. Below are

- Link Direction - website that link to you but you do
not link to them. Gives you more value than reciprocal links ( both of
your sites link to each other)
- Site Value - The value of the site linking to your
site is considered too. If the site has a low value in search engines
and it links to your site, it wont increase your site value by much.
- Site Relevance - Site releveance also plays an important role. If a food website links to your clothes website, it will be of lower
value when compared to a clothes website linking to your clothes
website.
Advertising

Pay per click by Google/Yahoo - Make sure your
advertisement contains as many relevant keywords as possible. Why ?
Because that is the way it works. Google gives relevant advertisements
to relevant websites. So if you put in an irrelavant keyword, you just
wated a lot of money.

get a professional graphic designer that does banner advertisements.
